Lafayette Police Searching For Suspected Kidnapper, and Victim [PHOTO]

Lafayette Police are searching for a man suspected of kidnapping a woman, his child's mother.

According to KATC, 29-year-old Scott Thomas of Leonville, is suspected in the kidnapping of 29-year-old Bethany Arceneaux, of Duson, right outside of their son's daycare on Wednesday evening (November 6).

According to Lafayette Police, Thomas confronted Arceneaux at a daycare on Wednesday evening and then forced her into his car, leaving their 2-year-old child in the backseat of her vehicle.

The suspect's vehicle was found by Police 2 hours later in Lafayette Parish. No one was in the vehicle.
