The holidays are upon us, and one thing is clear: fellowship is essential this time of year. So, gather your family and plan to attend this year's Community Fall Fest, presented by Aetna Better Health of Louisiana, District 2 Police Juror Mike Smith, and Ward 3 Recreation.

Save the date! Join us at the Martin Luther King Center (2009 N. Simmons St.) on Sunday, November 20. This event is free and open to the public. Enjoy hot Jambalaya, music, kids' activities, and games. Various community leaders and health & wellness organizations will attend.

Get your flu shot before flu season, take a health screening, and pick up important information on local outreach programs, services, resources, and healthcare available to families in the community,

In attention to a delicious hot meal, non-perishable groceries will be passed out to anyone needing food. While supplies last, items such as canned goods, beans, pasta, peanut butter, etc., will be given out sometime during this free event. See the flyer below for more details.
