Don't miss the Lake Charles Ward 3 Recreation Seniors Spring Fling, “Your Health is Your Wealth” extravaganza.  All the fun is Thursday March 26, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Lake Charles Ward 3 Recreation presents the Seniors Spring Fling, “Your Health is Your Wealth” extravaganza.  It all takes place this Thursday March 26, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Area seniors are invited to come out to celebrate life, health and each other.  This event is absolutely free and it will take place at the Lake Charles Ward 3 Recreation Power Center location, at 3210 Power Center Pkwy in Lake Charles.

This years slogan is “Your Health is Your Wealth” and the event will focus on our area seniors leading a healthy lifestyle.  Wonderful fitness tips and good eating advice will be offered to seniors by licensed fitness instructors and local nutritionists. In addition to live music, free health and wellness screenings will be available and a complimentary lunch will be served.

During the event, seniors are also invited to take part in a variety of fun athletic activities such as, egg races, sack races, volleyball, horse shoes and more.  So don't miss all the excitement, an opportunity to meet new friends and learn about the various fitness classes Lake Charles Ward 3 Recreation has to offer seniors.
