The 2020 football season has not gotten off to the start most LSU football fans would have hoped for after winning the national championship last season. The Tigers are 1-2 after losing to Mississippi State and Missouri so far this season.

Well, more bad news for the LSU faithful. ESPN is reporting Coach Ed Orgeron confirmed in a press conference yesterday that starting quarterback Miles Brennan has suffered what is being described as, " a significant lower body injury."

It is now up in the air if Miles will be able to start this Saturday. During a press conference yesterday, Coach Orgeron said two of his freshman quarterbacks have a had a great week of practice and they would have to step up in case they need one of them to start Saturday. Coach O went on to stay the starting spot wouldn't just be given to one of them. They would have to earn it.

Miles is now listed as questionable to start this Saturday's game against South Carolina. LSU didn't play last week, as the game against the Florida Gators was postponed due to several players for Florida testing positive for COVID-19. Coach O said if they would have played that game, Brennan wouldn't have been able to play.

The LSU Florida game has been rescheduled for Saturday, December 12. The game will take place in Gainsville at the swamp.

The LSU game time against South Carolina this Saturday has also been moved to a later start. The game will now kick off at 6:30pm in Baton Rouge at Tiger Stadium and will be televised on ESPN.
