Looks like Ludacris and Dwayne Wade have a lot in common.  During a “break” from his girlfriend Eudoxie, Luda fathered a child with a woman by the name of Tamika Fuller

The two welcomed a bouncing baby girl, Cai Bella Bridges, into the world on Dec. 9th.  Luda’s been able to keep news of his new baby under wraps until now.  And while the rapper/actor claims the child, he’s reportedly trying to put the brakes on how much child support he’ll have to pay.

Luda hasn’t legally established paternity just yet and word has it, he wants to set a hard limit his child support payments.  In legal documents obtained by TMZ, the 31-year-old claims he only makes $25,842.41 a month.  Under Georgia law that would put his monthly child support payments at $1,754.66.

In other news 2013 was a good year for Kanye West.  He welcomed his first child, got engaged and despite to controversy made $25 million from his ‘Yeezus’ tour, making it the highest-grossing hip-hop tour of the year.

In addition to new music from the ‘Yeezus’ album, the tour featured elaborate sets and caused a lot controversy with an actor playing Jesus, not to mention special effects and countless costume changes and an occasional rant from the rapper, which in one innocent resulted in him kicking fans out for throwing things on stage.

Finally, leading up to New Year’s day a few celebs didn't make it.  Over the weekend TMZ reported that aspiring rapper KayORedd, Waka Flocka Flames brother was found dead .  Investigators from the Henry County Police Department say Redd, who’s real name was Coades Scott, was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in the Georgia subdivision where he lived on Sunday (Dec. 29) night.

Antney revealed in a 2010 interview with Vibe.com  "My son was killed in 2000 and Waka was like 13 years old, going on 14, and it was hard, " she recalled. "He hated everything dealing with school because my son, his death was a sneak out the house to go help a kid with his homework before his father came home so the kid wouldn't get a beating. Waka told him to go, he'll cover for him. So [when he was biking home and killed by a car] Waka blamed himself. He feels very responsible for my son's death — that's what flipped him out."

In the meantime, beloved actor, James Avery, best known for his role as “Uncle Phil” on the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air died in Los Angeles at Glendale hospital New Year’s Eve (Tuesday Dec. 31st).  The actor passed away do to complications from open heart surgery.  He was 65.

His fellow actor Alfonso Ribeiro” made the startling announcement on Twitter, listen to Tha Wire below to find out what he said.  In other sad news, Flavor Flav lost his mother, Anna Drayton New Year’s Eve as well.  The Public Enemy rapper’s mom passed away on Dec. 31.  Full Force member “Bowlegged Lou” wrote a tribute to Ms. Drayton and read.

 “She was a wonderful & sweet person who is now up in heaven wearing Gods wings. A few weeks ago we were in the studio working on something special with Flav. He is a great guy & great son.”

Hollywood also lost, Oscar-nominated actress Juanita Moore, best known for her outstanding role in the 1959 race drama “Imitation of Life” died New Year’s Day at the age of 99.

She was the fifth African American to be nominated for an Academy Award in any category, and the third in the Supporting Actress  Her groundbreaking role was Annie Johnson.
