Make Sure You Check Out Mrs. Independent When It hits town

On Thursday night I had the pleasure of going to Lafayette to check out the stage play Mrs. Independent. The play stars and is directed by newcomer Preist Tyaire. Although the name is not familiar to some, he truly has the talent and the resume to prove that he is not just a fly by night talent. The show was great and if it comes to your city, make sure you get out there and support it like nobody's business.

The play stars a great cast of talent like singer and actor Christopher Williams, the lovely Robin Givens, Actor and singer Tony Grant from Tyler Perry's "Love Thy Neighbor", Gospel Great Ms. Dottie Peoples and more. The show has the moments to laugh, cry and seriously just have a great time. I would advise you to check and see when this may hit your area and make sure to support it.
