Round up the entire family, girls, guys, and kids because this a family-oriented event that's open to all. Sunday, February 23rd, 2025. Start your day at the Lake Charles Mardi Gras 2025 festivities event at the Lake Charles Event Center (900 Lakeshore Dr.)

Then head over to VFW 2668 on US 171 in Lake Charles for an epic after-parade party with live Zydeco, the famous Chicken & Pig Run, and family-friendly fun!

Chicken Run Winner (Kids Only): $50
Pig Run Winner: $100 or keep the pig!
