It's been about two years since we've heard anything new from Mary J. Blige.  The Queen of Hip Hop/Soul released 'My Life II....The Journey Continues' in 2011 and has been relatively quiet, until now.  I'm happy to say Mary J is back and bringing a little soul to this years holiday season with her new Christmas album.

Mary's new Christmas album was executive produced by veteran producer-composer David Foster, who said of working with Mary “There’s so many things that I find inspiring about Mary, but I guess it always comes back to the fact that she has no limits and no boundaries.  She doesn't think of herself as black or white, or yellow or red, or male or female.  She just thinks of herself as a singer and she’s a great singer.”

Mary had that same since of respect for Foster saying, “Working with David Foster is a singers dream.  I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to make this soulful classic Christmas album with him. David’s music has touched so many lives and I’m so proud of what we've created. I believe my fans will love it as much as I do.”

Get the perfect stocking stuffer this holiday season.  Look for Mary J. Blige’s ‘A Mary Christmas’ to be in stores on Oct. 15.  In the meantime, here's a little somethin to take you back and get you ready for more Mary all at the same time!!  Enjoy!
