Today in Tha Wire Master P is helping the kids again. Allhiphop reports the No Limit mogul is always giving back, and this time he's lending his support and dollars to an initiative that's helping students see. P teamed-up with Vision To Learn, a wonderful charity that provides free eye exams and glasses to children living in low-income communities. Below is more details about how this program is helping millions of kids in need.

Master P, whose real name is Percy Miller, actually started his rap career and label in the Bay Area. However, in the beginning it wasn't a label, No Limit started off as a record store. Here's a little know fact about the Hip Hop legend. When P's parents split up, he went back and forth between the different households. His dad remained in New Orleans, while his mother moved to Richmond, California.

First he would go play basketball at the University of Houston on a full scholarship. Then he left, moved to Cali in the 80's and studied business management at Oakland Merritt Junior College. His grandfather died and left him $10,000, and P used the money to open his record shop, No Limit Records. It was there, that he immersed himself in the Hip Hop culture, and figured out that major labels weren't giving the underground artist a platform. That's when he learned the business and launched his music label. The rest is pretty much history!

So that's pretty much why the Bay Area is a special place for P. Plus there's no better way to give back, then to help children. P told CBS Network reporters,
