Memorial Day Holiday Garbage & Trash Collection Schedule

Memorial Day is Monday, May 30, 2016, so don’t bother putting the garbage or trash out until the following day. Just a heads up!

The rescheduled times for Lake Charles garbage and trash pickup are below:

Normal pickup for Monday will be rescheduled for Tuesday, May 31.

Normal pickup for Tuesday will be rescheduled for Wednesday, June 1.

The regular schedule will remain for Thursday and Friday, and recycling services will not be open on Monday. All other services for the Department of Public Works will be closed on Monday in observance of Memorial Day. Regular working hours will resume Tuesday, May 31, 2016.
