Nas and ex-wife Kelis have been in a child support battle since February, and now, the New York rapper is forced to reveal his financial records.

According to a May 14 report from TMZ, Nas recently filed legal documents which show how much money he makes and where his money is going. According to the documents, the rapper has more than $8.3 million in cash in the bank and makes around $175,000 a month from music, investments and more.

Nas' monthly expenses total $76,834.04, which includes $20,245.70 that goes to various family members of his including his father. The rapper also pays $15,000 a month in rent. The financial figures were disclosed by Nas after Kelis claimed the $8,000 per month she's receiving for child support isn't enough. A judge will now decide how much the singer gets.

In March, the former couple reached a joint custody agreement over their 8-year-old son Knight, but a month later, Nas claimed she violated the agreement. According to the rapper, the singer refused to let him take their son during Passover, which began on March 30.

Nas claims it was his weekend to have Knight but Kelis allegedly said the child wanted to stay with her. The MC also alleged that Kelis has made it difficult at times for him to get his son, even refusing to allow him to pick the child up from school.

Kelis also recently made some disturbing claims about their relationship, alleging that Nas physically abused her during their time together. According to the singer, the relationship "was really dark" and full of "mental and physical abuse."
