Lake Charles Memorial Hospital is updating their patient and visitor guidelines in light of the rise in cases of COVID-19 across the state. According to hospital officials the new changes go into effect today, Wednesday July 21, 2021. Matthew Felder, a spokesman for Lake Charles Memorial Health System said that there will be monitors at every entrance doing active screenings and temperature checks on all visitors entering the hospital.

Be advised ALL visitors who do not have and wear their own mask, will not be allowed in the hospital. Masks must be worn at all times.

Visitors for Critical Care patients in ICU, CCU, and NICU are limited to immediate family and there is a 30 minute limit. Visitation hours are as follows: 5:30 am, 9:30 am,       1:30 pm, 5:30 pm, and 8:30 pm.
