UPDATE: Eric Holder's bail has now been set at $5 million.

ORIGINAL STORY:

Eric Holder, the man who allegedly shot and killed Nipsey Hussle on March 31, pleaded not guilty during his arraignment hearing on Thursday (April 4).

Holder's attorney is Christopher Darden, who is known for serving on the prosecution team with Marcia Clark in O.J. Simpson's double murder trial in 1995.

Holder has been charged with one count of murder, two counts of attempted murder and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon in the case. The attempted murder charges are for the alleged shootings of the two men—Kerry Lathan and Shermi Cervabta Villanueva—who were with Nipsey outside of his Marathon clothing store. If convicted, Holder is facing a life sentence in prison. TMZ reports that his bail is set at $5 million, but the Los Angeles County inmate database lists his bond at $7.04 million.

Eric Holder is scheduled back in court for another hearing on May 10.
