Offset Says Cardi B Inspired Strippers and Bartenders to Rap
Offset really loves Cardi B, but his latest comments about his beloved wife on Twitter have fans scratching their heads.
Early Friday morning (April 5), the Migos rapper jumped on his Twitter account to praise his wife and suggest that Cardi B inspired other strippers and bartenders (or “startenders”) to get into the rap game.
"Every bartender stripper with the dream of getting out the club it’s nun wrong with that but my wife help guide ur life to try to rap all u dumb ass ppl at home on couch tweeting suck my balls not talking bout established artist like the legands[sic] and the ones before Cardi," he tweeted.
Offset's comments were met with a variety of criticisms from his followers. Some were perplexed at his notion that Cardi paved the wave for strippers to become rappers when there's was artists like Eve and Trina who came before her that have similar come-ups.
"Offset really thinks Cardi is the first stripper turned rapper as if Eve doesn’t exist. this is what happens when you gas mediocrity," wrote one user on Twitter.
Another fan got a bit petty and criticized Offset's lack of punctuation in his tweet. "Can someone sprinkle some punctuation on this text please? It hurts my head!" tweeted one person.
