As a result, five people were shot and several others were injured. Witnesses say it was a chaotic situation as people ran for their lives. All were in attendance to see Rich Homie Quan  who's said to have been making an appearance as other acts were on the line-up to perform live in concert at the club. Earlier in the day, hotnewhiphop reports Quan had performed at the East Carolina Music Fest, along with Mario, Uncle Murda, and more. The Craven County Sheriff's office is investigating the incident and told TMZ, though Quan wasn't involved, his entourage had something to do with the shooting. No arrests were made, and no suspects have been named or charged at this time.
Meanwhile, eye witnesses say things went south when one the groups got into a verbal altercation with the promoter back stage. It's unclear if that was Quan's crew or not. But apparently, the argument was over money. Bystanders said first came pepper spray, next came gunfire, and then everybody started running. Word has it Rich Homie Quan was cooperative with authorities and agreed to be interviewed, where after doing so he left the scene. Of course, I'll keep you posted as more news becomes available.

In quick news, according to reports, Brooklyns Desiigner caught a lucky break. The 19-year old rapper could've been locked up for at least two years on just one of the charges he caught last week. As previously reported, the "Panda" rapper was arrested after a road rage incident last Thursday.

Though he's one charge lighter, other charges of felony possession of a controlled substance and menacing will stand. Desiigner is extremely lucky the District Attorney could't find sufficient evidence to make the gun charge stick. Keep it hear for any updates.
