Remy Ma is in the market for a new manager after firing her previous one.

According to a report from TMZ, the "Wake Me Up" rapper parted ways with her recently-hired manager, Vincert Herbert, after she discovered he was spending more time trying to mend his relationship with singer Tamar Braxton.

When it came to fulfilling his managerial duties, Herbert reportedly dropped the ball on things such as booking studio time and scheduling performances. Remy also allegedly wanted no part of Herbert's family drama, who is going through a divorce battle with Braxton and dealing with allegations of getting another woman pregnant.

In October, the New York rapper signed a deal with Columbia Records and is currently gearing up for the release of her next album, 7 Winters & 6 Summers. While the project doesn't have a release date yet, Remy did reveal the inspiration behind the title.

"I couldn't fathom counting in years," she said of her time in jail, "so, if I would look out the window and the trees were green, and say it was 2012, I knew I got three more summers to go."

7 Winters & 6 Summers will be Remy's first solo album in 12 years and serves as her first project with her new label. “Columbia Records is lucky to get to partner with Remy on this album. We could not be more proud to be her label home, and help provide a platform for the release of 7 Winters & 6 Summers," said Shawn "Tubby" Holiday, Columbia's Senior Vice President of A&R.
