Road Closure On Old Spanish/ Coach Williams Drive

I just saw this come across the wire and I want to remind you to be careful as the intersection of Old Spanish Trail and Coach Williams Drive/ Reynaud Road will be closed for an estimated 120 Days.

This all takes place beginning this Monday August 26th for the construction of a new roundabout.

Here are some detour options if needed for the upcoming traffic situations.

• Old Spanish Trail traffic heading west will have to detour south on Coach Williams Drive at the intersection to East Napoleon, then travel north on North Post Oak Road.
• Eastbound traffic on Old Spanish Trail will detour on Post Oak Road to East Napoleon, then north on Coach Williams Drive.
• Traffic north of Old Spanish Trail heading south on Coach Williams Drive will have to detour on Junius Street to Old Spanish Trail, then travel west to Post Oak Road, then to East Napoleon Street.

There will be detour signs posted. There has been a temporary detour road constructed for northbound and southbound traffic to help ease congestion during this project.

Be prepared to use this new route until mid February depending on the ever changing weather conditions.
