How does a guy who moves from New Orleans to Miami become one of the biggest dj's on the biggest radio station in the market. There are alot of ways you can do it including promotions, marketing and being in all of the right places. DJ Khaled is now on the charts from working with everyone from Akon, Rick Ross to Big Sean and Kanye West. But how did all of this start.

I Have the first interview with Khaled with one of the television stations in the market. They are talking with him about his start and it's so funny that this was in 2002. It was only about 2 years later before the world got a chance to hear this guy name DJ Khaled on the intros of banging hits like "I'm on One", "All I do is win" and so much more.

I have to give props to the homie for showing that you can start as a voice on the radio and move to bigger and better things. He has literally taken his talents as a dj and transformed it into one of the most successful independent label owners and I truly believe will be around for awhile. Since 2006 DJ Khaled has released about 8 full length albums and that is something alot of todays hottest artist can't say.
