Snoop Lion has become one of the latest celebs to team up with the Voices Against Violence campaign.  Better known as VAV, the project was founded by the legendary Tony Bennett, his son Danny Bennett, and the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence.

With age comes wisdom and know one knows that better than Snoop Lion.  He's made some serious changes in his live over the past few years.  The famous Snoop Dogg is no longer a rapper, he's a reggae artist.  From changing his message in music, to his religious belief by converting to Rastafarianism, to changing his name, Snoop Lion is reincarnated for real.

Now Snoop has come on board to join the mission of Voices Against Violence, and urging his fans to contact their representatives in Congress and tell them to support new gun safety laws.

No one could be happier that Snoop Lion has joined to cause than it's founder Tony Bennett.  In fact in a recent interview Bennett said, “Supporting the safety of our country through common sense gun laws is an issue that crosses all demographics and brings citizens from divergent backgrounds together in this important cause.  I am so appreciative that Snoop Lion has added his voice to Voices Against Violence.

Snoop appears in a video message on the Voice Against Violence’s Facebook page.  The L.A. rap icon joins a ton of celebs like Paul McCartney, Alec Baldwin, Elton John, Jim Carrey, Rachael Ray, Juanes, Alejandro Sanz, Mario Batali, Gloria Estefan, Sting, Josh Groban, k.d. lang, Romeo Santos, Rosie O’Donnell, Ana Carolina, Vicentico, and Mia Farrow as VAV supporters.
