Snowfall was the brainchild of movie director John Singleton and unfortunately with the untimely passing over the summer. There was doubt on whether the show would still survive without his presence.

However not only did the show survive. It is going on to be one of the biggest seasons yet. The star of the show is Damson Idris who is now one kingpins in the drug game on the West Coast. What a lot of people don't realize is that the actor is actually from London. With the show based on the 80's in Los Angeles. He obviously had to sound like he was from the West Coast.
