Solange was among a bevy of celebrities honored at the 2017 Webby Awards in New York on Monday (May 15). The R&B singer was presented with the Artist of the Year trophy for her trailblazing work in music, fashion and the internet through her label Saint Heron.

Since 1999, the annual awards show has only one rule for honorees when taking home trophies: their acceptance must be only five words. This rule offers a lot of creativity for winners who delivered some inspiring five-word speeches.

Solange probably gave the most musical speech of the night and it fits her perfectly. The “Cranes in the Sky” singer approached the podium and with a smile she sang “I Got 5 on It,” a nod to the Luniz’s classic 1995 song.

Other winners include Van Jones who received a Special Achievement Award for his political commentary during the elections. In his speech, he said, "Enough red, enough blue, purple," which was his salute to his late friend Prince.
