Start The New Year A Little Lighter

Some of our local sisters and brothers are barely making it thanks to being out of work with COVID and, of course, the back-to-back hurricanes. Giving back is what the holidays are all about, anyway.

Care Help at 200 North Huntington Street in Sulphur is up for the challenge to help distribute your items to those in need. They take more than shoes and clothes, too. In fact, they're one of the few places accepting donations in spite of the COVID-19 pandemic.

They will collect everything form clothes, to furniture, toys, even household goods. If you have something to spare, they'll take it. Keep in mind, clothing and shoes need to be lightly used, with no stains, holes, or odor.

Pass this on and declutter your home while helping families in need in your community. Care Help takes donations 8:00am-2:00pm Monday-Friday.
