I am a certified weather geek. I love the science of meteorology. It's fascinating to me how the currents of air that flow above us create weather that helps us survive and sometimes turns against us. If I am a weather geek then Mark Sudduth is that times a thousand. Mark runs a great crowdfunded weather site called Hurricanetrack.com.

During Hurricane Delta's march through Louisiana yesterday, Mark and his team tweeted out some incredible images and videos of the storm. I know he would appreciate the follow on his Twitter site and you can even join his Patreon site which is funded by viewer subscriptions.

Here are some of Mark's incredible images via his Twitter feed from the past few hours.

And for those of you who don't believe in the power of storm surge.

Being a storm tracker is something I have always had an interest in. While a lot of what these ladies and gentlemen do might seem foolhardy and reckless, they know the risks and take the proper precautions. Thanks once again to Mark Sudduth and his team for sharing their experiences on Twitter. You guys please be safe out there.
