Marion "Suge" Knight is facing murder, attempted murder, and hit-and-run charges for running over Terry Carter and Cle "Bone" Sloan in a Compton restraunt parking lot.  Carter was killed and Sloan was seriously injured.  The former mogul has pled not guilty to all counts.

Knight was recently ordered to stand trial for murder by Superior Court Judge Ronald Coen according to AllHipHop.  In addition, the judge rejected Knight’s argument that he was acting in self-defense when he ran two men down.

His attorney Matt Fletcher entered his clients defense this week telling the court, “There’s no intent to kill. There’s an intent to survive.”  Since his arrest, Suge Knight has insisted he felt his life was in danger and claims in a panic to get to escape, he accidentally hit the two victims.

Unfortunately enough for him the authorities, witnesses and the judge have all seen the footage of the incident and nobody's buying his self-defense claims.  Authorities believe Knight decided to use his vehicle as a weapon, instead of getting into a fist fight. AllHipHop reports, witnesses also stated it appeared Knight struck Carter and Sloan on purpose.

After the judge gave his ruling, Knight fell ill and had to be taken to a Los Angeles hospital. That will make the fifth time the former Death Row CEO has been hospitalized since first appearing in court. This time around, his medical misfortune has not disclosed.
