Surveillance Footage Released of T.I. Screaming at Security Guard Before Arrest

On May 16, 2018, T.I. was arrested outside of his gated community in Georgia, for public drunkenness and disorderly conduct. The Grand Hustle rapper had words for the security guard who he caught sleeping on the job when he arrived and requested to be let into the gate.

The guard called police insinuating that T.I. was coming to fight him, but the rapper insists he wasn't, and that the guard wasn't completely telling the truth about what went down. He was later arrested and charged with three misdemeanors, including simple assault, public drunkenness, and disorderly conduct. He was released after posting a $2500 bond. The assault charge was dropped due to lack of evidence.

Almost a year later since the incident took place, video surveillance footage has been released of the incident.

When the video starts you can see the guard slumped to the side in his chair, before being awaken. I'll say this, I don't condone the way T.I. handled the situation initially, but I don't think an arrest was warranted, and I hope the guard was reprimanded for sleeping on the job.
