CPSB and Jefferson Davis announce schools to remain closed Wednesday January 17, 2018 due continued weather conditions and dangerous roadways.

Last minute changes with school bus routes, has caused serious hardships for parents with no transportation, and puts walking children in harm's way on busy roads.

According to KPLCTV, a child collapsed at school during “Fun Day events,” and later died at a local hospital.

The CPSB Child Welfare and Attendance Office has extended their hours to allow parents and guardians to enroll students, apply for out of zone permits and more.
