Researchers say it's quite possible Louisiana beach goers have encountered sharks that have ingested cocaine. Can't make this stuff up.

The U.S. Coast Guard has increased their presence in international waters in an effort to intercept drugs coming from Central and South America.

Operation 27 was a combined effort by the Louisiana State Police, the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office, the Lake Charles Police Department, Homeland Security, The Drug Enforcement Agency and the Calcasieu Parish District Attorney's Office. The arrest total stands at 24 now with more coming. We have a list of those who were busted for you.

I will never forget where I was when it was announced that Whitney Houston was found dead.  It's still hard to believe that she's gone.  Her family had a absolutely beautiful "going home" ceremony for her, and as a fan I thank them for televising it and allowing us to share that moment with them.
