The late Adam West will be heard in a number of projects to come, but perhaps no gig was so permanently affected as the former Batman star’s Family Guy role as Quahog’s mayor. Now, FOX pays tribute to our beloved “Bright Knight” with an extended reel of West’s wacky politician.
Just as NBC’s Powerless carried on the late Adam West’s inimitable presence, so too will Family Guy keep our beloved Bright Knight alive. Producers confirm West recorded at least five more episodes for the coming season, after which Quahog’s mayor may never be replaced.
It wasn’t terribly surprising that FOX would say goodbye to American Idol after so many years, but word that NBC might look to revive it alongside The Voice came more unexpectedly. Now, FOX is reportedly bidding for the rights to bring American Idol back on its own, almost exactly as we remember it.
