Millennium Park

The Splash Pad at Millennium Park will close temporarily for maintenance, but don't worry kiddos, it'll open back just in time for summer.

Millennium Park, located at 1100 Bord du Lac Dr., will close from Monday, April 15 through Thursday, April 18, for maintenance.

Don't fret kiddo's, you've still got this weekend to have a ball!

Saturday May 16, "Walk With Your Mayor" and bring your children to participate in the "Kid's To Parks" initiatives. These events are free and open to the public.

Come out to Millennium Park Saturday May 16, for Kids To Park Day. This event is free for whole family complete with activities, games and much more.

It’s incredible to see the citizens of Lake Charles come together to improve their community in the wake of the Millennium Park fire, and we here at 107 JAMZ want to be a part of that movement.  Between Oct. 26 and Nov. 6, volunteers are going to undo what a teenage arsonist heartlessly did last January.  By restoring the park, we’re coming together in a positive way – and we hope you’ll join us!

We all remember a few weeks back, we reported that the Millennium park had been set on fire. I had my reasons to believe it was this and that until today. Apparently LCPD has come up with a suspect!

With the traumatizing news that woke us all up this past Sunday. We were wondering if the Millennium Park would be back to what it was. Well good news ladies and gentlemen, it will be returning and it will be better then ever!
