Teyana Taylor Drops Out of Jeremih’s Tour After Claiming She Was Mistreated
Jeremih kicked off a tour with Teyana Taylor on Aug. 3, but it looks like the effort is falling apart after just eight shows. Taylor announced Wednesday (Aug. 15) on Twitter that she's dropping out because she feels she's been mistreated.
"I’ve been extremely mistreated on this tour so on that note i will NO longer continue to stay on the #LaterThatNightTour because if I do ima end up knocking this nigga out," she tweeted. "I’m sorry to all who has already purchased tickets to see me I will make sure everyone gets refunded!"
In another tweet, she mentioned Jeremih's handle directly and called him a "lazy, sneaky, jealous, conniving selfish, lame ass nigga." She added towards the end that he'd done nothing for their entire tour except "act like a DIVA in ya princess chair."
Taylor continued in subsequent tweets, saying Jeremih "really do think he is mike jack," and referring to "all the shady shit that has been going on" in response to a tweet regarding the alleged absence of Taylor's name on concert tickets and associated Snapchat filters.
There are 14 scheduled shows remaining on the tour, which was booked in the wake of Jeremih's March EP The Chocolate Box and Taylor's Kanye West-produced June album K.T.S.E.. Jeremih also has a joint project with Ty Dolla $ign on the way. Taylor said in a tweet that she plans to announce solo tour dates "soon."
The drama follows a separately tumultuous rollout for Taylor's album, which she has said was intended to include a ninth song and several samples that G.O.O.D. Music never cleared. She also said in an interview that she wasn't informed the project's release would not include music videos.
