The Legendary Traxster, who is best known for his collaborations with Twista, has signed a deal with Priority Records. The producer will bring his Nothing But Dope imprint to Priority Records, according to

The new Priority Records launched in 2013. The label's re-launch was a venture by Capitol Records, which is owned by the Universal Music Group.

“I was excited with what Priority was doing as far as deal structure," Traxster said. "It gave me all the flexibility I need. They have a excellent marketing team and staff. I have prior relationships with the people there and they ultimately wield the muscle of the biggest company in music, Universal.”

Traxster claims that he will be the "new Master P" thanks to his new deal with Priority. He plans to make big steps for improving producers' ability to flourish in the modern music industry.

"[I have a] new business model that will revolutionize how producers maneuver in this industry," Traxster said. “Times have changed. I had to change my approach. Everyone will peep the chess move soon.”

Traxster's wife Tia London is the only known artist signed to the producer's new imprint. The Chicago native has not announced any of the roster members for his Nothing But Dope imprint at this time. Traxster wants to give a platform to new artists, so don't expect to see many huge names on his label's lineup.
