Last week, Hurricane Maria swept through Puerto Rico and surrounding islands, leaving a trail of devastation in its wake.

Now, more than three million people in the area have been left without power, and several celebrities have stepped forth to help. One of them is Fat Joe, who recently announced that he and Tidal are teaming up to assist with hurricane relief efforts. Joe revealed his plan through a video on his Instagram page

In the video, Joey explains that he's teamed with Tidal, JAY-Z, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. to send supplies to Puerto Rico. Using a plane provided by Hov, he will help send 200,000 pounds worth of goods to the island.

"The goal is to fill and send as many cargo planes as possible. Donate or find your local drop-off location and help save lives," reads the caption for Joe's IG announcement. "Head to TIDAL.com/PuertoRico. If you are in the New York area we are collecting non perishable items such as water, batteries, can foods, diapers, baby wipes, canned formula, etc. on September 30th at the Jacob Javits Center. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart and I promise all these items will be delivered by ME personally to Puerto Rico. God bless. #savepuertorico."

Once the goods are collected at New York City's Jacob K. Javits Convention Center on Saturday (Sept. 30), Joe will take them on a Tidal-provided flight to Puero Rico, where he will meet up with his friend Daddy Yankee and a team to distribute the supplies.

The charity is, in large part, facilitated by Governor Cuomo's Empire State Relief and Recovery Effort. Check out Joey's Instagram post below. To donate to their relief effort, visit TIDAL.com/PuertoRico.
