It’s official, there’s going to be a Jodeci reunion.  Timbaland confirmed the news this week as he announced he'll be producing their new album.

Jodeci will team back up with Timbaland as their comeback albums producer.  Timb and Missy Elliott actually got their first production credits from working on Jodeci’s last album ‘The Show, The After-Party, The Hotel’, nearly 20 years ago. Tim and Jodeci would dismantle after that project, he continued to work with K-Ci and JoJo on their solo careers.

According to MTV News, Timbaland made the big announcement during a Hang With chat session on Tuesday (Feb. 4), “People who follow Timbaland from day one, I met with [Jodeci member] DeVante [Swing] and I’ma help work on the new Jodeci album, just for y’all.  That’ll be my career coming in full circle, connecting back with DeVante,” he says.

In other news, the NBA announced Pharrell Williams, Kendrick Lamar and Janelle Monae will perform during the 2014 NBA All-Star Game weekend.  These days Pharrell is on fire.  The rapper/singer/producer is sitting at the top of the charts with his new single ‘Happy’, won 4 Grammy’s this year, invited to perform at the upcoming Academy Awards and now Billboard reports he’ll headline the 2014 NBA All-Star Entertainment Series presented by Diddy’s Sean John label and Macy’s.  Kendrick Lamar will kick everything off on Feb. 15 with a performance prior to Sprite Slam Dunk contest.  Then Pharrell will be performing his Oscar-nominated hit ‘Happy’ during the player introductions on Feb. 16.

Finally, Jodeci aren’t the only ones looking to make a comeback.  R&B Diva Kelly Price is making her way back on the music scene.   It’s been 16 years since she released her debut album and now she’s putting the final touches on her seventh studio album, ‘Sing Pray Love Vol. 1.’   Kelly’s first single ‘It’s My Time,’ is an empowering track that’s combined with nighttime glitz and funk, so a sista is coming out swinging.
