Tyler, The Creator Didn’t Care About Eminem’s Homophobic Diss: “Don’t Get Offended for Me”
Last year, Eminem clapped at Tyler, The Creator and others on the Kamikaze track "Fall" as a result of the Odd Future frontman dissing one of the Detroit MC's albums years prior. Tyler is finally reacting to the year-old diss.
Wolf recently sat down with The Guardian for an interview published on Saturday (Oct. 5), when the topic of the homophobic diss was brought up. On the line, Shady delivered the scathing bars, "Tyler create nothin', I see why you called yourself a faggot, bitch/It's not just 'cause you lack attention/It's 'cause you worship D12's balls, you're sack-rilegious."
A year later, Tyler seems unbothered by the diss. "Did you ever hear me publicly say anything about that? Because I knew what the intent was," Tyler said.
Em faced backlash for the line and later said he regretted what he said about Tyler.
"He felt pressured because people got offended for me," Tyler added. "Don’t get offended for me. We were playing Grand Theft Auto when we heard that. We rewound it and were like: 'Oh.' And then kept playing."
Tyler never responded to the diss on wax and it looks like he doesn't plan to.
In Shady-related news, the rap god may have a new album on the horizon. According to frequent collaborator 50 Cent, Em is hard at work on a new LP.
