Vinton Police Involved in I-10 Shooting
Earlier this morning, an officer-involved shooting occurred in Vinton near the entrance ramp of I-10 West.

Louisiana State Police are currently investigating the incident and have stated there was an altercation between a truck driver and another driver in a car. Vinton Police were called to the scene and another altercation occurred when shots were fired and a suspect was shot. The suspect was then transported to a local hospital.
