Weekend Nacogdoches Shooting Leads to Numerous Murder Arrests
Sunday evening around 8:00 p.m., the Nacogdoches Police Department, Criminal Investigation Division, along with the S.W.A.T team conducted a search warrant in the 400 block of St. Claire St in the Redland area of Angelina County. Three arrests were made at the residence and no one was injured.
These arrests are part of the continued investigation in a shooting that occurred early Sunday morning in Nacogdoches. That shooting lead to the injury of three persons and the death of one person. According to the Nacogdoches Police Department's Facebook post, around 3:30 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to the 1400 block of Dolph Street, near Brooks-Quinn-Jones Elementary School, after receiving reports of multiple people being shot. The suspects fled the area in a vehicle.
Nacogdoches Police arrived on the scene and found four adult male victims that were suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. All four victims were transported by emergency medical services. One of the victims was pronounced deceased at the hospital. The deceased victim has been identified to be Javinsky Lampkin 35, from Nacogdoches. The other three victims were all in serious condition. At last report, those injured were in the process of being transferred to out of town hospitals for higher level of care.
As some officers were on scene of the shooting, NPD located a vehicle of interest and attempted a traffic stop on the vehicle. The occupants of the vehicle refused to stop and a pursuit began south bound on NW Stallings Drive. The vehicle finally stopped around the 3200 block of SW Stallings Drive and two people of interest were detained. They are Anastacia Pettigen ,25, from Lufkin, and Jarvis Williamson, 39,also from Lufkin. Both suspects have been charged with Murder and are being held in the Nacogdoches County Jail.
During the execution of Sunday evening's search warrant three Angelina County adult residents were arrested. Elmer James Williamson, 30, Wendi Williamson, 44, and Nathanial Jackson, 26, were all also charged with murder. There were five juveniles inside the residence that were released to family.
