Welsh Mardi Gras Forced to Cancel Parade and Dance
The Welsh Mardi Gras Run and Parade was set to take place on January 30. It was going to feature live music, a Mardi Gras parade, street dance, and a traditional run. Unfortunately, they took to their Facebook page yesterday to announce the cancellation.
The group was trying their best to adhere to all of the rules and regulations set by the state to continue the event as safely as possible. The cancellation is said to be from circumstances that were beyond their control, but they are assuring everyone they're working as hard as they can to come up with a different way to celebrate their second annual event. However, they have not canceled the out of town run that was already previously scheduled. It is still limited to a finite amount of participants, but anyone can show up to watch it all take place along their route.
