Most of the names when it comes to streets, places, or waterways in Louisiana are hard to pronounce because they are not in English. If you don't read Native American, French, Creole, or Spanish languages, For the record, nothing sounds the way it's spelled and nothing be spelled the way it sounds.

Words like " Fordoche" are not going to roll off your tongue. I live there and can't pronounce some of the streets or towns, and I'm not alone. Some folks may do better than others, especially if they take French or Spanish. But sad to say, the struggle is for the rest of us.

I guess this is one of the many things that helps to keep Louisiana interesting. Speaking of things being interesting, imagine how problematic it would be if you needed to catch an Uber but you couldn't pronounce the street. Now that would be hilarious if it weren't for the fact, that you are stranded. Here's the good news, Uber and taxi drivers are pretty familiar with their area.

LOOK: 50 famous memes and what they mean

With the infinite number of memes scattered across the internet, it's hard to keep track. Just when you've grasped the meaning of one hilarious meme, it has already become old news and replaced by something equally as enigmatic. Online forums like Tumblr, Twitter, 4chan, and Reddit are responsible for a majority of meme infections, and with the constant posting and sharing, finding the source of an original meme is easier said than done. Stacker hunted through internet resources, pop culture publications, and databases like Know Your Meme to find 50 different memes and what they mean. While the almost self-replicating nature of these vague symbols can get exhausting, memes in their essence can also bring people closer together—as long as they have internet access.
