Rapper/actor 50 Cent is currently dealing with simular drama surrounding the lawsuits against the makers of the FOX TV hit "Empire."  The rap mogul is being accused of stealing someones idea for his hit drama on Starz, “Power.”  According to TMZ the G-Unit general is being sued by Larry Johnson and he claims there's several similarities between his manuscript "Tribulation of a Ghetto Kid" and “Power.”

Johnson says while shopping his story around he met Nikki Turner, a employee at G-Unit Books.  TMZ reports, though Johnson's book was picked-up somewhere else, he believes Ms. Turner showed 50 the manuscript.  He further claims Fif's character is a carbon copy of the main character in his story, right down to the nickname ‘Ghost.’ .

That said, Johnson is looking to collect $200 million from his lawsuit.  By the way, this will be the second time this year, 50 Cent has been accused of stealing the idea for “Power.”  In January, a writer by the name of Curtis Scoon sent out a series of tweets accusing Fif of stealing the concept for his show, “Dangerous.”

Scoon was rather direct too.  He tweeted, “My experiences and some of the things I share on here to a writer is like striking it rich. They dream about this level of content. And in the case of people like 50 they will steal it, plagiarize it or try to diminish it as a matter of survival.”  However, that's about all that came of his claims.  No suit, just a lot of chatter.
