The Louisiana legend is back with a vengeance. In support of his forthcoming album BooPac, Boosie BadAzz drops the new video for his song “I’m Bad.”

The footage kicks off with Boosie rapping in a secluded area, dressed like an early LL Cool J, complete with a Kangol bucket hat, track pants and LL’s trademark gold chains. The song’s title is a homage to LL’s single of the same name.

Boosie has always been a mainstay of southern rap, and he celebrates this fact on the song. “Got the whole world jumpin’/People knowin’ my raps/Bad bitches screamin’ my name/Niggas givin me dap,” he spits.

“I’m Bad” will appear on his new album, which drops on Dec. 15. Boosie is also prepared for any backlash related to the double album’s title, which is a both a tribute to late rapper 2Pac and a move to compare himself to the California rapper. “I really named it BooPac because to a generation, I was their 2Pac,” Boosie explained to XXL. “What 2Pac did to me is he touched me with his music. He’s the only one that ever made me shed a tear off a song. And I have that characteristic to my fans. My fans come tell me I’m their 2Pac.”

BooPac will include features from B.Will, Lee Banks, London Jae and Yung Bleu. The album will also include the previously released single “God Wants Me to Ball.”
