Today in Tha Wire HipHollywood announced Xscape just got a new manager. The R&B diva's have reportedly hired Vincent Herbert, as in Tamar Braxton's soon-to-be ex-husband. Makes since though, that's if the news is legit. He and Tamar may not have the best relationship these days, but music wise Herbert is a the bomb. He launched  his wife's career into superstardom. He also discovered and managed the phenomenal career of Lady Gaga. He also just sign Remy Ma to his roster. We see you Vince!

So if anyone can propel Xscape into new heights in their career, it's Vince. Fresh off the big manager news, the group dropped two brand new singles! Word has it, "Dream Killa," and "Wifed Up," will be featured on their new album. Yes Word has it these diva's are getting ready to drop a new LP. Finally! Take a listen to the new track below:

Whatcha think? Does Xscape still got it? Notice anything different about the songs? Kandi is not on either track. It's unfortunate, because it's looking more and more like Kandi isn't going forward with the group once their tour is over. I'll get to that in a few. Meanwhile the ladies hit the road November 22, 2017 with their first tour in years, The Great Xscape. Joining them on the road is Tamar Braxton, Monica, Zonnique, and June's Diary. They'll be stopping off to Houston on the December 22, and New Orleans on the 28th. You may wanna cop some tickets, because this may be the last time you see all of them on the same stage as a group.

The ladies stopped by Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, to talk about their reunion. When Andy asked about their new singles, Kandi revealed she wasn't on the tracks. She also said she would not be recording any new music with Xscape. See how the interview unfolded below:

Not to sure what's going on, but clearly not everyone in the group is on the same page. A little bit of that was seen on their reality show, Xscape Still Kickin It. Kandi was still trying to get over things that led to the group's break-up. So it's very possible they  couldn't get past their differences, and Kandi will go her separate way with the tour is over. I know I'm not by myself in hoping they can mend their bond, because they are a real super group together.

As for their new music, Tamika tells HipHollywood their first EP since 2005 is coming soon. She said, “We’ve been working with Tricky Stewart, and the songs are really amazing. We worked really hard. We recorded six songs, in like six days.” So that's definitely good news. By the way they are still working on the biopic for Bravo. Mona Scott-Young is at the helm on that project, which will premiere sometime in the spring of 2018.

That's about it for now. Tune in for the latest in entertainment with Tha Wire, every weekday on The People's Station 107 Jamz.
