In City Heights, San Diego, a would-be carjacker ended up on the receiving end of a beat down when he tried to steal a car with women and children inside.

Several men from the community jumped into action to help the women and children, by  taking the keys from the carjacker's hands and pulling him out of the vehicle. He attempts to get away but is taken down and restrained until San Diego police arrive and cuff him after a bit of a struggle, in which citizens once again stepped in to assist.

The carjacker was arrested and taken into custody, and though shaken up a bit, the women and children were not injured.
