As President Trump is set to be the first POTUS in history to be impeached twice, the financial fallout continues over his role in the DC riot and insurrection. Dollars from corporate america and others are being cut off from Trump, his businesses, his family, and the Republican senators who challenged the Electoral College and the November election. Global banks, social media, and countless big money donors are cutting Trump and GOP senators out of millions in donations and campaign funding.

Keeping it 100%, many companies started jumping ship over his continued racist rhetoric, immigration, failed economy, trade deal, and handling of the pandemic. Of course, when the drama goes away, those same companies will be back to write checks in time for the 2022 congressional elections. Still, “money talks and bull***t walks.” When Trump encouraged his supporters to storm the Capitol, leading to the death of five people, the corporate exodus accelerated.

German global bank, Deutsche, according to the New York Times, has reportedly cut ties and will no longer do business with Trump or any of his companies. Monday, execs at Signature Bank called for him to resign and started closing Trump's personal accounts. The bank took it a step forward, announcing it "will not do business in the future with any members of Congress who voted to disregard the Electoral College."

So far, Stripe halted processing credit card payments for Trump's campaign, Shopify seized operating online stores for the Trump Organization, and PGA pulled their golf tournament from one of his properties.

Social media has banned or suspended the President. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, and YouTube refuse to be Trump's megaphone. Microsoft, JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, and Citigroup pulled political contributions and all GOP PAC donations until the end of the quarter, if not indefinitely. TV networks MSNBC, ABC, NBC, and CNN said they could no longer allow the lies and constant falsehoods to air on their broadcasts. The list of corporate companies pulling away for Trump and the GOP is getting bigger and bigger by the day.
