Six months after he said he wanted to collaborate with her, hit-maker Timbaland and singer Demi Lovato are working together on her new album.

In January, Timbaland said the ‘Skyscraper’ singer was “amazing” and posted a video message on YouTube, saying he not only wanted to work with her, but had written a song with her in mind.

So fans were thrilled when Lovato sent a tweet confirming the collaboration on Monday. “Getting ready to do radio in the [beautiful] city of Miami,” tweeted Lovato. “Then going into the studio with @Timbaland.. You guys ready?!”

Lovato, who left rehab at the end of January, has also found a fan in Missy Elliot; the rapper tweeted “@ddlovato Nice meeting u at the studio tonight! I know ya gonna do ya thang! Working the late hrs! Lol Have fun!”

Lovato’s new album will be available on  September 20.
