I want to give a huge shout out and congratulations to Carmeletta Joseph for stopping by today to talk about her book and upcoming walk this weekend. There was discussion of her dealing with Domestic Abuse and also the moment that she decided that enough was enough.

The walk will be this Saturday at Opelousas Street Park 499 August Street in Lake Charles beginning at 10 am and going until noon with featured speakers and also the Washington Marion Drum Line will be in attendance with vendors for all to take part in.

We also talked about the book that talks of her experience with Domestic Abuse and how she came out on the other side alive and now happily married with a beautiful family. The book is available for all to purchase and it's called Drowning In Silence. Thanks to Carmeletta for educating those of us who want to learn more. She also gave a major life line to those who are looking to get their lives back on track. Make sure you get out this weekend and support the great cause.
