Early voting begins Saturday October 10 through Saturday October 17 for the upcoming October 24 election.  Voters can go to their local Registrar of Voters Office, daily (except for Sunday) from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Everyone can take advantage of this, as early voting gives us an additional seven days to vote.

Depending on where you live, voters in Louisiana will decide on a number of things like a new governor, Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of State, Attorney General, Treasurer, Commissioner of Agriculture and Forestry and Commissioner of Insurance.  In addition voters will also pick a BESE board member, state senators and representatives, sheriff, clerk of court, tax assessor, coroner and police jurors.
