Erik Tee Reviews New Music This Week[VIDEO]

What's going on everyone? You know that I have to keep you in the loop on the latest when it comes to great music from my perspective. There are two new titles that I have been listening to since I received them and want to make sure all of my family is in the know.

The first one is from Sunday Best winner Tasha Page- Lockhart. For true gospel fans you may remember her mom who was a gospel legend in her own right. Does the name Lisa Page Brooks ring a bell. This is her first album and is released on 'Sunday Best' host Kirk Franklins new label Fo Yo Soul. The album is called 'Here Right Now'! This is a great album for your collection from the beginning to the end. While the majority of the album would be considered mainstream or contemporary for today, she still takes it home with that traditional gospel and singing that we all love. The current single Fragile is one that people will be talking about for years to come and 'Yours' with PJ Morton is sure to be a classic down the line. Even her mom and Kirk Franklin appear on the album as well. Make sure you get your copy today as it is available online and in stores. Second I have to give it up for Tank, he surprised alot of people with the Michael Jackson inspired 'You're my Star', but that was just the icing on the cake. This is the first time that we have actually heard Tank pick up the pace and take us to the dance floor. This new album 'Stronger' will get you out of your seats. He's even got a little help from his old friend Timbaland on the song ' Dance with Me'. Do not fear, he has not lost what got him some of his biggest fans, he still drops the ballads for the real lovers out there and the jam 'Hope This Makes Your Love me' brought back some memories and may get the bedroom sparking for a few fans. This will be available online and in stores on tomorrow August 12th. Although these are two different artist with two types of music, I think they can coexist for anyone who loves great music.
