Ethel Precht Hope Breast Cancer 3K A Huge Success
The weather was perfect for a brisk 3k walk or jog this past Saturday as folks for every walk of life and age came out for the annual Ethel Precht Hope Breast Cancer 3k.
It's amazing how many thousands right her in SW Louisiana have been touched by this disease.
We here at 107 Jamz not only have family members touched by this disease, but also a beloved co-worker Jolyn Slate who lost her tremendous fight this year. So we know first hand in more ways than one, how truly devastating this disease can be and how painful it is to lose a loved one. God say the same, we will be celebrating more birthdays as we continue to walk for a cure. This weekend thousands came together for one cause and as with every year the walk gets bigger and bigger.
Ethel Precht is a breast cancer survivor, as is her mother and has given her life to helping women like her live with, through and to survive this disease by aiding with various expenses. Their are a variety of things a woman with breast cancer may need from a support group to wigs and special bras to help on bills etc. This is exactly what Ethel Precht does with her organization.
