Jay-Z is catching a lot of flak for his dealings with the NFL. One person who thinks Hov is doing the right thing is Freddie Gibbs.

News that Jay-Z has signed on to be the live music entertainment strategist for the NFL and will be potentially investing in one of the league's teams has had the internet going nuts since it was announced on Aug. 13. Some, like NFL player Eric Reid and Colin Kaepernick's girlfriend, can't believe the music mogul would seemingly undermine Kap's work by aligning himself with the NFL when he once championed for the former QB's stance. Freddie Gibbs is on the opposite end of the table.

He recently addressed the outcry on his Instagram Story.

"I'm riding with Jay-Z, straight up. Fuck Colin Kaepernick," Gibbs said. "All y'all niggas marched for Colin Kaepernick and he took a settlement and aint tell y'all what he got or nothing. He settled. Let it go. Y'all hating on Jay-Z for tryna own something in the NFL. Y'all niggas some muthafuckin' crabs."

Gibbs isn't the only rapper who thinks Jay is doing the right thing. Cardi B recently said she believes Jay can make a change with his new positions within the NFL.

"I think that he can make a change, you know what I'm saying?" Bardi said. "I feel like he didn't went on an NFL deal without an agreement. I feel like he went in there like, 'Alright, if you guys want me to work with y'all, y'all need to bring my people in here. Y'all need to do things my way.' I feel like he's gonna change it."
