Fredo Bang won't tolerate any disrespect. Just listen to the Baton Rouge, La.'s latest project, Big Ape, to get informed. Unleashed in April, the project houses contributions from platinum producers such as Southside and Ben Billions, and features guest appearances from the likes of Moneybagg Yo, Kevin Gates, the currently incarcerated YNW Melly and NLE Choppa, who pulls up on “Gangsta Talk,” among others. Known for his tales of life in the streets, the rapper behind records like “Story to Tell” and “Oouuh” shows just how it goes down in his hometown for XXL’s What I Do freestyle series.

“I know niggas out the NOLA/They’ll come and fold ya/I was gonna let him slide, but you know I’m bipolar/Put him on a stretcher, yeah, my dog did him decent/I know that’s your shooter, I guess he ain’t have no defense/My bitch thuggin’ too, she got a glock all in her cleavage,” Fredo spits.

As for his Big Ape project, Fredo went into the studio with a point to prove. “It was more of just me proving to myself and to people that I’m not just a one-trick horse,” he shares. On to the next one, the self-proclaimed "Big Ape" has already started to plot his next move. Only months after Big Ape hit the streets, Fredo has begun to tease his next project, which is tentatively titled Pain Made Me Numb.

Watch above as Fredo Bang, who is currently headlining the cross-country Big Ape Tour, sends warning shots to the haters in his What I Do freestyle.
